Do you reveal which school or institution our teachers work at?

No. We verify every applicant’s current employer privately during the application process, but we never publish it. Many schools — and institutions like British Council, PIE, and Mentors’ — have policies against staff taking on private students outside their regular hours, so keeping this detail confidential protects the teacher. It’s a big part of why some of the country’s strongest educators are comfortable listing here at all.

Who can actually apply for an Elite Educator portfolio?

Practising teachers at a recognised school — English medium, Bengali medium, or English version — as well as instructors at reputable English-language and test-prep institutions such as British Council, PIE, and Mentors’. We don’t accept unaffiliated freelance tutors or university students without an institutional appointment. Every application is checked against that before approval.

How long does verification take?

Most applications are reviewed and published within 72 hours of submission, once your ID and school details have been checked.

Do I need to pay before my portfolio goes live?

No. There’s no payment step in the application itself. Once verified, your portfolio is published for a 3-day trial. Within 24 hours of going live, our team messages you on WhatsApp with the one-time activation fee and a simple way to pay. Paying any time during the trial keeps your portfolio active; if we don’t hear back by the end of day 3, it’s taken down.

What is the Guardian Portal and how much does it cost?

The Guardian Portal is an optional add-on that gives each parent a private login to their child’s dedicated dashboard — with live attendance, exam scores, payment history, progress reports, and teacher notices. Parents log in with just their phone number, no password required. It’s a one-time ৳1,000 fee for lifetime access — no recurring charges. If you opt in during the application, we confirm this together with your portfolio activation fee over WhatsApp once your portfolio goes live.

Will the application fee stay the same?

No — this is a limited-time introductory rate, and it can change at any time. Since the fee is only requested after your portfolio goes live, we’ll always confirm the exact, current figure with you directly on WhatsApp rather than quoting a fixed price up front.
