Terms and Conditions for Teachers — TeachBD Platform

Welcome to TeachBD. By registering as a tutor, you agree to the following rules. Please read carefully.

1. ACCOUNT INTEGRITY & TRUE INFORMATION
Your registration form serves as your professional CV visible to guardians. You must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information. False qualifications, fabricated experience, or incorrect contact details will result in immediate permanent removal from the platform.

2. FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOUR & BANNING POLICY
The following result in an immediate permanent ban:
- Accepting payment outside the platform to bypass the fee structure.
- Providing false identity or qualification documents.
- Contacting guardians through unofficial channels after being told not to.
- Taking students from the platform for private tutoring outside TeachBD.
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate matching or ratings.
- Any harassment, blackmail, or threatening communication.

3. PAYMENT TERMS — NO DISCOUNTS ALLOWED
Once a monthly fee is agreed between tutor and guardian, that amount is final. Tutors may not offer discounts, side deals, or reduced rates outside the official payment system. Attempting to renegotiate the agreed fee is a contract violation.

4. DEMO CLASS POLICY — PAYMENT IN ADVANCE
Guardians must pay the platform fee before the demo class. Tutors must not conduct any demo without admin confirmation that the fee has been received.

5. STUDENT SAFETY — NO PHYSICAL OR VERBAL ABUSE
No tutor may physically discipline, hit, slap, or harm a student in any way. Verbal abuse, humiliation, or psychological harm is strictly forbidden. Violations will result in an immediate ban and may be reported to law enforcement.

6. PROFESSIONALISM & PUNCTUALITY
Tutors must:
- Arrive or be online on time for every class.
- Be dressed neatly and presentably at all times.
- Maintain consistent attendance.
- Notify guardian and admin in advance of any absence using the official Absence Notice system.

7. APPEARANCE & CONDUCT
Maintain a professional appearance. Be well-groomed for every session. Conduct must remain respectful and professional before, during, and after each session.

8. PLATFORM UPDATES
Keep your profile up to date at all times. Outdated profiles result in incorrect matches and poor guardian experiences.

9. ACCEPTANCE
By ticking the checkbox and submitting this form, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms. TeachBD may update these terms at any time.
